A structured micro school with strong early academics and daily outdoor experiences
Our School Year Model
Hidden Bee Learning follows a school year model from early August through late May.
Families enroll for the full school year, with tuition divided into weekly or monthly payments in advance through Brightwheel.
We are a small, classroom-based, curriculum-focused program that also uses our outdoor and farm spaces for daily hands on learning. We are not a drop in program.
- School year runs August through May (10 months of payments).
- Tuition is based on the full school year and divided into weekly or monthly payments for your convenience.
- You may choose weekly or monthly billing. The total for the year is the same either way.
- We sometimes accept mid semester enrollment when space is available. Families who join mid semester are enrolling for the remainder of the school year, not a short trial block.

Weekly Tuition
All core programs run 9:00 to 12:30.
You choose how many days your child attends. Two or more days are recommended for younger children so they can settle into routines, but one day per week may be possible if space allows.
Little Explorers (ages 3 to 5)
Pathfinders (early elementary)
- 1 day per week: 35 per week
- 2 days per week: 70 per week
- 3 days per week: 105 per week
- 4 days per week: 140 per week
This works out to about 35 dollars per 3½ hour morning for a small, classroom-based, curriculum-focused program with regular outdoor and farm experiences.
Trailblazers (older elementary, Wednesdays only)
- 1 day per week (Wednesday): 35 per week
Trailblazers is our older student enrichment day and currently meets on Wednesdays only.
Early Bird Add On
Little Explorers and Pathfinders only
For families who need an earlier start, we offer an optional Early Bird add on.
- Time: 8:00 to 9:00
- Days: Tuesday and Thursday
- Cost: 10 per child per Early Bird day
- Who: Currently enrolled Little Explorers and Pathfinders
Important details:
- Early Bird is reserved in advance for the term so we can staff appropriately. It is not a week to week drop in option.
- Early Bird check in opens at 8:00. We are not able to receive children before 8:00.
- Children enrolled in Early Bird may arrive between 8:00 and 8:55 on their scheduled Early Bird days.
For the regular morning program, doors open at 8:55 and class begins at 9:00. Arrival before 8:55 is reserved for children enrolled in Early Bird. If a child arrives early without an Early Bird reservation, you may be asked to wait with your child until 8:55 or your account may be charged the Early Bird rate for that day if staffing allows.
Enrollment Fee
There is a 50 dollar enrollment fee per child, due when you apply.
- This helps cover the time it takes to review applications, manage our waitlist, and reserve your child’s spot.
- The enrollment fee is non refundable unless we are unable to offer your child a space.
- If we cannot offer a spot for your child, we will refund the fee.
Siblings
We love having siblings at Hidden Bee.
- Siblings receive priority enrollment when we have limited spaces.
- We do not offer a sibling tuition discount.
Keeping one clear rate for all families helps us keep class sizes small, retain staff, and care well for the children and animals in our program.
Snacks, Lunch, and Supplies
Because of allergies and individual food needs, families provide snack and lunch each day.
- We are allergy aware and work closely with families on food needs.
- Teachers handle handwashing and food safety routines.
We do not charge a separate supply fee at this time. Classroom and learning materials are included in tuition.
Mid Semester Enrollment
We sometimes accept new students mid semester if a space becomes available.
- Mid semester families are enrolling for the remainder of the school year.
- Tuition is prorated based on the remaining weeks or months.
- All regular financial and attendance policies still apply.

Looking Ahead
We are exploring optional extended day hours (12:30 to 3:00) for Little Explorers and Pathfinders and additional afternoon social clubs for older students.
Any extended day or club offerings will be announced separately with their own schedules and pricing once staffing is finalized.
