Pathfinders (Ages 6–7):
Pathfinders will function as a micro-school, following Tennessee homeschooling laws while offering a structured curriculum through Moving Beyond the Page. The program builds literacy, math, science, and creative problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on reading readiness and foundational learning. While the primary age range is 6–7, exceptions may be made for 5-year-olds based on learning readiness, ensuring a supportive transition from early education to more advanced academic work.
Our Pathfinders program (ages 6-7) continues to thrive as a micro-school built on hands-on discovery, nature exploration, and strong academics.
Pathfinders may attend 1–4 days per week, with flexible scheduling that meets homeschool needs while maintaining consistent learning progress. We use Moving Beyond the Page and Blossom & Root curricula to foster reading, math, science, and creative thinking — all through real-world projects and play.

✅ Recognizing when they need to use the restroom and going independently.
✅ Using a standard toilet without assistance.
✅ Managing clothing and wiping themselves.
✅ Washing hands independently (reminders will be given).
🚨 If a child is not fully potty trained, they will not be able to attend until they meet these requirements.
Schedule & Pricing
💲 Tuition & Payment Policy
Payments are due weekly. This is not a pay-as-you-go program. Tuition is calculated for the full semester and then broken down into convenient weekly payments — about $35 per class — to make it more manageable for families. When you enroll, you are committing to the entire semester, and your weekly payments reflect a portion of that full commitment.
📅 Program Hours
📅 Hours: 9 AM – 12:30 PM
🏡 Location: Hidden Bee Learning @ Hidden Bee Farm – 753 Carters Creek Pike, Columbia TN
💰 Tuition: Weekly payments (≈ $35 per class) – semester commitment required
🧻 Requirement: All students must be fully potty-trained
(We follow the Maury County School calendar, with a few exceptions.)
🐝 Sibling Discount
Each child must pay a $50 enrollment fee at registration.
Families enrolling more than one child will receive a one-time $25 sibling discount, which will be taken off the first week’s bill for each additional child after the first.
After that first discount is applied, tuition returns to the regular weekly amount.
This helps make enrollment a little easier for families with multiple children while keeping our tuition structure consistent and fair for everyone.
Semester-Based Tuition Commitment & Withdrawal Policy
Please check our calendar for all breaks and holidays. We follow the Maury County Public School calendar for most closures.
When you enroll and are accepted for the semester at Hidden Bee Learning, you are committing to the full semester. While we do not require full payment upfront — in order to ease the financial load for families — this does not make the program month-to-month or flexible for early withdrawal.
We carefully plan our staffing, materials, and classroom structure based on committed enrollment. Once your child is enrolled, their spot is reserved and cannot be held open or replaced easily after the semester begins.
First Payment Reminder
Your first weekly payment is due one week before the first day of the semester — that’s December 29, 2025.
The Winter–Spring 2026 semester begins the week of January 5, 2026.
Timely payments help us finalize class rosters, purchase materials, and prepare for a smooth start to the semester.
📅 Important Dates & Withdrawal Policy
We offer a withdrawal grace period until December 31, 2025 prior to the Winter–Spring 2026 semester.
If your plans change before that date, only the $50 deposit will be forfeited.
After December 31, 2025, the standard withdrawal policy goes into effect.
Withdrawal Policy (After December 31, 2025):
If you withdraw your child after the deadline, you are responsible for a $450 early withdrawal fee and must provide a 30-day written notice.
Holiday Celebrations
We celebrate the following holidays throughout the year:
Halloween/Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and July 4th.
If a celebration falls on a day your child normally attends but they do not wish to participate, that is perfectly fine. They can sit out of the activity and join an alternate task instead. If a celebration falls on a day your child does not normally attend, we cannot guarantee an alternate day, but we will do our best to accommodate when possible.
Please note that some of these holidays may not fall within your child’s semester, depending on the time of year they attend.
Re-Enrollment Policy
Automatic enrollment is no longer in place.
Families must re-enroll their child each semester to secure a spot in the program.
This helps us confirm attendance numbers, plan materials and staffing, and ensure that each class is balanced and ready for a great semester of learning.
Enrollment will not carry over automatically — a new form must be submitted for every term.
Important Notes for Enrollment
🚨 Signing up does not automatically guarantee a spot. If space is unavailable, your deposit will be refunded.
