About Hidden Bee Learning

Who We Are

Empowering Children Through Compassion, Creativity, and Community

Hidden Bee Learning is built for the early years, when children are learning how to be part of a group, solve problems, and grow into confident learners. We focus on both academics and character, using a play-based, hands-on approach with calm structure, strong routines, and plenty of room for real childhood.

How We Think About Childhood

Our Rhythm

Many of us remember a simple rhythm from childhood. We learned and made friends during the day, and then went home and spent the rest of the day outside. Forts, bikes, muddy shoes, made-up games, imagination, and freedom. We believe that balance still matters.

Today, parents have a lot on their plate. Preschool and pre-K are often the season when families begin deciding what path fits best next. Homeschool, traditional school, or something in between. We partner with parents by helping children get a strong start either way.

We use Brightwheel as our primary communication platform for enrollment and family communication.

What We Believe

Our Philosophy

We teach the whole child. Learning happens through real materials, movement, sensory-rich activities, and guided play, not paper-heavy days.

Curriculum-Based Learning

Hidden Bee Learning is a curriculum-based program, not a farm school. Real materials, intentional structure, and strong foundations in every age group.

Social-Emotional Growth

Children practice listening, communication, perseverance, and problem-solving every day. Skills that carry into any learning path they take next.

Safe and Structured

Our classrooms are intentionally structured to help children feel safe, capable, and ready to learn. Calm routines and steady supervision throughout the day.

Time Outdoors

Outdoor time is part of every program day. The farm setting means children learn alongside animals, gardens, and nature year-round.

Servant Leadership

We lead through kindness, respect, and empathy and teach children to care for themselves, for others, and for the world around them.

Parent Partnership

Meaningful learning is strongest when families and educators work together. We offer intentional family engagement throughout the year.

Where We Learn

The Farm Setting

Hidden Bee Farm provides the setting, but Hidden Bee Learning is about the children. The farm is a backdrop for growth, not the point of the program.

The animals are part of daily life and always nearby. Their presence teaches empathy and responsibility in a calm and meaningful way.

Animal experiences are supervised and supported by clear routines. Children are never left unsupervised near animals.

Hidden Bee Farm is a separate nonprofit animal rescue sanctuary. Learn more at hiddenbeefarm.org.

A small-group homeschool enrichment program using Moving Beyond the Page. Focuses on early literacy, math, science, and creative thinking through active learning and exploration.

Trailblazers

Specialty Classes

Trailblazers is a specialty class program for older students, offering focused experiences such as robotics, science, art, farm care, LEGO building, and other hands-on enrichment opportunities. It is a supervised social enrichment club where students can explore interests, build skills, and enjoy meaningful connection with peers in a structured environment.

Featured classes, dates, times, and pricing will be posted here and shared on social media as they become available.

All programs are intentionally small with low student-to-teacher ratios and caring staff who provide consistent guidance and attention.

The People Behind It

Our Team

Our teachers and aides reflect the same values we teach our students. They are compassionate, creative, and experienced educators who guide children with patience and purpose.

Each member of our team is dedicated to helping every child feel seen, supported, and capable. Beyond the classroom, our seasonal camps and workshops give children more ways to learn and create through hands-on activities and meaningful projects.

What Drives Us

Why We Do This

Every child deserves a place where learning feels meaningful and personal, where curiosity is encouraged, differences are valued, and kindness is part of every day.

At Hidden Bee Learning, we help children grow in knowledge, confidence, and compassion.
